HOERA, as the Dutch say....! This year the UMCG accepts 13 PhD proposals of research master students!
Alumni of the research masters of the GSMS have priority in the allocation of available PhD positions at the UMCG. In the last year of the master programme the students write an individual PhD proposal, based on the master thesis project of the students own field of interest. And it clearly pays off!
This year the UMCG accepted three PhD proposals of Clinical and Psychosocial Epidemiology (CPE). One of them is the excellent proposal with the title ‘Treating anxiety: a closer look at the evidence’, as shown on the picture. The UMCG also accepted proposals of the other two bigger research masters, eight of Medical and Pharmaceutical Drug Innovation (MPDI) and two of Behavioural and Cognitive Neurosciences (BCN).
The quality of the PhD proposals is a compliment for the research masters, it’s staff and of course the talented students who wrote them!
