Build a Career as a Leading Scientist with the Career Perspectives Series

CPS, short for Career Perspectives Series, offers training opportunities (workshops, lectures, classes) to you as a PhD students to be able top explore and develop your own career plan alongside your PhD research project.

All components of the Career Perspectives Series are focused on either providing you with career advice, introducing the ins and out of entrepreneurship, enhance your academic skills and how to get acquainted with inclusion & empowerment. See available courses and training here.

A series of workshops brought to you by the Graduate School of Medical Sciences is outlined below. This exciting series of workshops is designed to take you on a journey to help you get the best out of your future career options. You will learn how to kick start your career, take steps towards exploring career paths suited to you, and build on your current talents and skills. 

Kick-Start Your Career Workshop a Success

The exciting Kick-start your career workshop took place on 20th March at Het Paleis for 1st and 2nd year PhD scholarship students. The students prepared themselves for a competitive career market by taking part in workshops on intercultural awareness, networking and personal branding.

3rd April 2018: Your PhD, What's Next?!

Have you thought about what you will do after your PhD? Will you stay in academia or pursue other career options? This workshop, intended for our 1st and 2nd year PhD scholarship students will encourage you to explore your own values and strengths in order to develop your future career plan.

The workshop will take place at Het Paleis from 13:00-18:00, with coffee breaks and an opportunity for networking included. You can view the schedule here.
