Sunway University in Malaysia and the Graduate School of Medical Sciences jointly coordinate a Sandwich PhD program leading to a Dual PhD Degree (DD).
How to apply?
Interested Sunway students, in close collaboration with their Sunway and UMCG supervisors, should prepare an ATTP Sandwich PhD application package in accordance with the instructions as outlined here.
An application manual for the DD PhD will become available shortly.
Funding
The GSMS provides two "top-up" scholarships to selected Sunway students per year for the period of research carried out at the University Medical Center Groningen, with a maximum of 24 months. The candidate should have access to external funding (scholarship) for the duration of the PhD research at Groningen, in accordance with the criteria established for the Top-Up program. The GSMS will waive tuition fees.
