Career Planning Courses 2017

Dear PhD-students, postdocs, lecturers and other researchers,

 

We would like to draw your attention to our career planning courses. These courses are specifically intended for academics with temporary jobs.

 

If you are asking yourself questions like the ones below, then the career planning course may be just what you are looking for:

 

• How can I develop my international career, possibly in academia?
• What can I do to further my career while I am at the University of Groningen?
• I am not sure I want to stay in academia. What are my other options?

 

During this course you will learn how to create a personal profile and a detailed career plan. If participants are interested, we will also deal with topics such as the labour market, networking and how to apply for a job.

 

The trainers are Marian Oosterhuis en Liesbeth Volbeda.

 

The Spring course 2017 takes place on:

• Friday 23 June; 09:00 -17:00

 

The Autumn Course 2017 takes place on:

• Thursday September 28; 09:00 - 21:00
• Friday October 13; 09:00 - 17:00
• Friday November 3; 09:00 - 21:00
